Imagine

Imagine...
        a world where there is kindness, love, compassion,
            sharing of ideas where we treat others as we wish to be treated.

Imagine...
        a world where no one gets yelled at because of miscommunication or just not knowing what the      other person goes through.

Maybe...
        it's a question that the other person just did not know how much they were loved,
before speaking so harshly.
       Before one speaks there should be no assumptions, especially when one calls for clarity or explanations.
       There is always a love in the world somewhere even when it is not expected.

A silent prayer is louder then one thinks.

1 John 4 KJV

"7 Beloved, let us love one another:  For love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God,
and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God;
for God is love.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent His begotten Son into the world,
that we might live through Him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God,
but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us,
we ought also to love one another."

Our Gifts!!!

How do we know what our gifts are?  Our gifts are those that are chosen for us.
They are our expression, our light, our passion, what moves us, inspires us and brings joy.
It may or may not bring us struggle.
It should bring us closer to God and His understanding.
 These Gifts are not to be confused with talents or our character!

Our gifts for God can come in many forms:
Is it a smile,   a helping hand,   ministry,
monetary/ donation/ charity,
music,   song,   dance,   art,   teaching,   friendship,   love,
healing,   faith,   spiritual...
How do you see your gift?

1 Corinthians 12:4-11 (ESV)

"Truly, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.
And there are diverse ministries, but the same Lord.
And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.
However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.

Certainly, to one, through the Spirit, is given words of wisdom; but
to another, according to the same Spirit, words of knowledge;
9 to another, in the same Spirit, faith
to another, in the one Spirit, the gift of healing;
10 to another, miraculous works;
to another, prophecy;
to another, discernment of spirits;
to another, different kinds of languages;
to another, the interpretation of words.

11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one according to His will.
12  For just as the body is one, and yet has many parts, so all the parts of the body, though they are many, are only one body.  So also is Christ."

Waiting!

Sometimes we place ourselves in a state of waiting.
God has a wait till we can receive His blessing.
God has us wait to recognize when He is working for us.
God has us waiting for that right person to send.
We wait for finances, peace, love, but
   We should NOT wait for happiness.

Happiness is all around us.

Waiting is for our Higher Purpose.
Waiting is necessary to make better decisions.

So... Wait, Listen & then things will open up.

Isaiah 40:31

"But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint."

Equally Yolked and Relationships

     What does that actually mean?  EQUALLY YOKED!!  It wasn't until I actually realized was in a bad relationship that I should have been less naive and fully understand what equally yolked is.

If you are a believer of God and have faith, so should your partner.

     I prayed and sought out the meaning in every version of the bible, websites, conversations with Christians, and then one day I sat in my car and prayed on it.  The meaning was right in front of me.
     I asked God, What is it that I am actually seeking?  What kind of man brings me closer to you?
Do you know what I heard?
     I heard, he is one that prays like you, believes in Me (God), has the same values, has faith, sees the good in all, has a good heart, helps others, supports and seeks support, listens, and believes in spending time with family, friends and most of all a relationship with you and God.

Everything else falls into place, because above everything God comes first.
         Laughter comes.
           Loves comes.
            Happiness comes.
             Intimacy comes.
              Sharing and Caring comes.
               Support comes.
                Understanding comes.
                 Friendship comes.
                  Blessings come.

Matthew 6:21

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness?

Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

What accord has Christ with Belial?

Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?

Charity

Charity is the giving of yourself with your heart.
Not because of a have to but because of a want to.
Give with all your heart and blessings will pour in to give more of yourself.
Love is never ending.
Charity is giving, sharing, loving and more.

Deutoronomy 15:10
"Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart;
then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and
in everything you put your hand to."

Power of Prayer

Prayer comes in many forms.  It can be individual prayer, more than 1 can pray, or there can be a prayer chain that encompasses an ongoing prayer to request a multitude of people praying for a common cause.

I had heard some news of someone I only met briefly, he was excited that he is a father to a newborn baby girl.  He recently went in for surgery and had complications and was in a coma.  Right away people were calling people to anyone who might know him or has met him to pray for his recovery.  I can speak testimony that today he awoke from his coma and under observation.

Sometimes we are placed in a temporary sleep, to make us more aware of things we may need to change or realize in life.  When it is God's time he will awaken us or bring us to Him.  God always has a reason and a purpose.  Power in Prayer, God answers all prayers in His way and in His time.  The answer may be one we want to hear or not, but Prayer brings us closer to finding out.

When it all began?

Today, I was sitting here and wondering how I got here.  I'm not where I thought I would be at this point of my life.  Some background.  I was born and raised in Brooklyn.  Leaving Brooklyn was not something I thought I would do until I hit 14 years old. My parents told me we were moving to New Jersey.  At the time, I thought that was the worst thing that could happen. It wasn't. My mom always told my brother and sisters to have faith.  There is always a reason.  I didn't understand those famous words "Have faith, there's always a reason, God has a plan.."  I say that because the years to follow, those words seemed to follow me through every walk God has placed me on.  Each day I will take you to through that walk of mine.  My prayer to you is that we can learn through each other's experiences to restore someone's hope, faith and understanding of God's Plan.  Thank you for visiting!! Remember, God has a plan. Have Faith.  There is always a reason.
